Hi there 👋 — this is the first post on the **n8n-mcp** blog.
We'll use this space to share:
- Release notes and changelogs - Deep-dives on the MCP protocol and how we wire it to n8n - Performance + cost numbers from production traffic - Tutorials for connecting Claude Desktop, Cursor and other AI clients
Why a blog?
Most of our users are devs who want to know _how_ something works before they trust it with their automations. Short tweets and changelog entries don't leave room for the kind of architectural detail we want to publish.
What's next
Our next post will cover **how the knowledge base is built** — we scan over 1900 n8n nodes (official + community) every week and ship them as a single SQLite file inside the MCP container.
